Finally here! One year of testing and development later say hello to our new G1 enduro bike. The completely new designed frame is modular and can be mounted with 27.5 or 29 inch wheels. The adjustment is done by the headset and different screw-in elements, which we call Mutators. The round tubes made of high-strength 7020 aluminium keep our clean look. The stronger, Downhill spec down tube is paired with a lower top tube for an aggressive look and a lower standover height, helping you move more freely on the bike. Experience more safety, traction and speed thanks to the GEOMETRON geometry. With the new, bespoke EXT Storia V3 shock the suspension is in another world. The new G1 really does deliver next-level performance. Each Nicolai Frame is hand built to order at their factory, allowing endless customisation and possibilities, from simple colour choices to a TAILORMADE program to have the frame made to your unique preferences. Once it arrives, we built them up in-house at AttitudeBikes with parts tailored to each customers' requirements. The Argon GLF is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Don’t dismiss the GLF because it’s a hardtail; in capable hands it outstrips many all mountain full suspension bikes up and downhill. The Argon GLF performs incredibly well thanks to our GEOLUTION geometry concept, 160 mm fork and clearance for plus size tyres, but it is still a capable all-rounder with everything you have come to expect from a modern trail hardtail. We made it even better by adding a Pinion gear box. The huge 600% range, low and central mass and virtually maintenance free transmission improve its capabilities even further. There has never been such a fun and maintenance free hardtail before, which is exactly why we just had to build it! A gravel bike’s potential should shine on asphalt as well as on gravel and in light off-road terrain. The decisive factor here is correctly placing the bike along the wide spectrum from road performance to off-road capability, the bike wants to set the pace and the range that it can optimally cover. A gain in off-road performance through wider tires and a more upright riding position goes hand in hand with a loss of road speed and range due to higher air volume and rolling resistance. If, on the other hand, the focus is set more towards the road, narrower tires quickly reach their limits off-road and a front-heavy riding position makes handling more difficult. A classic conflict of objectives, in which NICOLAI’s Argon GX shows new and very interesting solutions. The Argon GX is a new addition to the Argon family, which includes lightweight NICOLAI hardtails and classics such as the Argon CC, Argon FR and Argon Road. The name comes from the gas argon, which is used as an inert protective atmosphere when welding the frames. GX stands for Gravel plus Cross.
