The Story Of AttitudeBikes
AttitudeBikes is an establishment that is operated by a collaborative effort from friends since 1997. We use our different skill sets to fill a void in our local cycling community and industry by providing solutions and precise craftsmanship to fit the individual requirements of each rider.
How It Began
As a motocross racer, Ram took up cycling as a cross-training regime. This allowed him to gain perspectives of the areas lacking in the global and local cycling landscape.
Understanding both the art and the science of materials and how they work together, he took his domain knowledge of motorcycles and founded AttitudeBikes, with a key focus in the craft of wheel building and suspension enhancements.
Community was always the focus for Ram, whom pioneered and introduced multiple disciplines of cycling into Singapore, by Inviting the top international freeriders and trial riders to grow the sport. He also was integral in the setup of BikeTrial Asia and BikeTrial Singapore Union.
Where We Are Now
Today, AttitudeBikes is delivered through a team led by Walton, a national athlete and ranked 9th in the world in BikeTrial during his competition days. Having his roots firmly planted in the AttitudeBikes culture and with Ram’s mentorship, Walton advocates the same beliefs that laid the foundation for AttitudeBikes.
As the Creative Visionary of AttitudeBikes, Walton’s attention to detail brings the spirit of AttitudeBikes to the work done at the shop ensuring that each customer, product or service rendered is treated with the best service and knowledge possible.
Outside AttitudeBikes, Walton is a devoted father while still being an active rider in endurance and downhill disciplines, functioning as a Race Director for local events and the Vice President for BikeTrial in the Singapore Cycling Federation.
